Wong Yi Tarng

Yi Tarng leads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice. He regularly advises and represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes, contractual claims, construction disputes, debt recovery matters and shareholder disputes. Known for his practical and solutions-oriented approach, Yi Tarng places strong emphasis on resolving disputes efficiently and commercially, with a preference towards achieving amicable settlements that allow parties to move forward constructively wherever possible. Colleagues and clients describe his approach as meticulous, strategic, and unwavering — with a strong belief that successful outcomes are often achieved through careful preparation, practical problem-solving and a deep understanding of the parties’ commercial objectives. Admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2023 with an LL.B （Hons）from the University of London, he also supports the firm’s corporate practice on contentious commercial matters and contractual risk management.
